Being a Successful Newborn Photographer in Bahrain today is a very rewarding and a challenging job. To be experienced and professional in this specific genre of photography means taking the best photographs as well confidently handling the baby safely.

A Newborn baby is very delicate. Handling with at most care is needed. Especially when it is new parents, they are anxious when another person is handling their baby. Adding to that it is mostly the first time they are taking their little one out to a new place away from home. The boutique studio is a very welcoming place for the family. Before the photoshoot the whole studio is sanitized. Every cloth or wrap to be used on baby is washed and dried before the photoshoot. If at all any other prop or toy is to be used, they are disinfected as well. Due to the Pandemic, parents are really worried getting out with their little kids. Being a mommy, I understand you. Only one photoshoot a day or two happens in the studio which will be two hours apart. This is to take time cleaning and disinfecting.

During the photoshoot Newborn baby is either held by parents or mostly on a Bean Bag. Sometimes wrapped or in a white onesie. With washed and disinfected hands, double face masks on, I will be gently transitioning baby if needed. The photo session is a Baby led one. By which it means the comfort of baby will be the primary priority. Baby will be transitioned from one pose to another gently. The Photographs give more importance to the life around baby. So parents and siblings are included. I will be guiding dad and siblings specially on how to hold the little baby safely.

Let me tell you about the above photograph. At around 11th day baby was a bit jaundiced and got circumcised as well. Clearly baby was in pain. But as it was the second child mom was cool about it. That is why she came in for the Newborn Photoshoot on those early days. Baby had diapers on all the time and did not want to be moved much. But a pose like this was perfectly done and you can see how peacefully baby slept in this pose. Babies actually are comfortable in a pose like this. Being experienced I know how to turn baby around to a tummy position. Most of the time a sleeping baby will not even wakeup when I gradually put them on a position like this.

That being said, not all poses can be done on each and every baby. Babies are unique. The Timeless style focusses more on story telling. The story of baby which means the uniqueness, personality and the newness in the little individual is captured. After all that is what you want to remember.
